CMP Karting Gift Cards - Terms and Conditions
These Gift Card Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all Carolina Motorsports Park (“CMP”) gift cards purchased or redeemed for rental karting services. By purchasing, accepting, or using a CMP Gift Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms. CMP reserves the right to update these Terms at any time, in accordance with applicable law.
1. Gift Card Issuance and Expiration
CMP Gift Cards are issued and managed solely by Carolina Motorsports Park.
Gift Cards expire 12 months (365 days) from the date of purchase unless otherwise required by law.
Any remaining balance after expiration will be forfeited and is not refundable or transferable.
2. Redemption
CMP Gift Cards may be redeemed only for rental karting services at Carolina Motorsports Park.
Gift Cards must be presented in person, along with the associated Gift Card number, at the karting registration trailer at the time of redemption.
Gift Cards cannot be applied to group events, corporate events, or special promotions unless CMP explicitly states otherwise.
Gift Cards hold no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash, except as required by applicable law.
3. Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable
Gift Cards are non-refundable, including in cases of unused or partially used balances.
Balances cannot be transferred to another Gift Card, customer account, or person.
Gift Cards may not be used to purchase additional Gift Cards.
4. Lost, Stolen, or Unauthorized Use
Treat Gift Cards like cash. CMP is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Gift Cards, or for any unauthorized use.
CMP will not replace or reimburse the value of a Gift Card under any circumstances unless required by law.
5. Balance Inquiry
To check your Gift Card balance, contact CMP via phone or email, or visit the karting registration trailer during operating hours.
6. Restrictions
CMP Gift Cards:
Cannot be used for motorsports events, track rentals, memberships, merchandise, or non-karting services unless specifically permitted by CMP.
Cannot be used for gratuities, taxes, or fees unless explicitly stated.
CMP reserves the right to refuse redemption of any Gift Card suspected of fraud, tampering, or unauthorized use.
7. Fraud Prevention
CMP reserves the right to prevent or delay a transaction if fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.
CMP may deactivate or decline to honor any Gift Card obtained unlawfully or through unauthorized channels.
8. No Warranties
CMP Gift Cards are provided “as is” with no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
CMP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, use, or inability to use a Gift Card.
CMP’s maximum liability shall not exceed the amount remaining on the Gift Card at the time of the claim.
10. Compliance With Law
These Terms are intended to comply with all applicable federal and state gift card laws. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and governing law, applicable law will control to the extent required.
11. Modification of Terms
CMP may modify or update these Terms at any time. Any modifications will apply to Gift Cards issued or used after the revised Terms are posted on the CMP website.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes related to CMP Gift Cards shall be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
