The Labor & Employment Subcommittee of the South Carolina Senate approved a bill introduced by Senator Penry Gustafson to lower the minimum age for rental karts from 18 to 12. 

This bill, which still needs the approval of the full House, full Senate and Governor would “level the playing field” with other states in the region while transforming the Carolina Kart Park into a family venue.
